A Bit About Me
I am a writer and photographer passionate about human experience and environmental sustainability.
As a journalism graduate and a current public relations specialist, my work is all about finding the thread of a story that will connect business to audience, person to person. I search for what people care about, and that becomes what I care about.

As a content creator, I often work with software such as Adobe, Microsoft, and Canva, creating web, print, and social media content. I am experienced with Adobe's AI capabilities, and I utilize AI tools to enhance and elevate original content. I never leave the entire content creation process to AI, but I do use it to streamline my processes and organize my ideas.
I love to think creatively and attack problems from different angles. Not every story is best told in the same way, so I use photo, video, and design to tune that thread so it resonates with the audience. That ever-important thread that connects people weaves its way into my personal life. When I’m not working, I like to travel. With camera in hand, I enjoy capturing the culture and scenery of new places. My favorite shots are the ones that tell a story—a person lives here. Life is beautiful here. The more I see of our beautiful planet, the more importance I place on preserving it. I am an advocate for sustainability, and I love applying my skills to shine a light on positive efforts, both locally and world-wide. ​
Though I write on a variety of topics, my first love is fiction and fantasy. Nothing weaves a story thread better than a completely new story! You can check out examples of my work on the Writing Samples page. Books have always been, for me, not only an escape from this world, but a realm of endless possibilities. Some of my favorite genres include YA fantasy, classic novels, historical fiction, and memoirs.
